Two Injured After Three-Vehicle Accident Near Downtown Warsaw

At least two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident near downtown Warsaw on Sunday, Aug. 13.

WARSAW — At least two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident near downtown Warsaw on Sunday morning.
Just after 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, emergency personnel responded to a vehicle accident in front of Clevenger Insurance Agency, 525 E. Center St.
The accident involved a black Jeep, a black Toyota Prius, and a silver GMC SUV.
The Jeep’s driver sustained a serious foot injury and was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital. The Prius’s driver was taken to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
Shortly after this accident occurred, emergency personnel were dispatched to a second vehicle accident less than a mile away, near East Fort Wayne Street and North Maple Avenue. A person involved in that accident was taken to a local hospital for chest pain.
Responding agencies for the three-vehicle accident include Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Warsaw Police Department, and Lutheran EMS.

A black Toyota Prius involved in the accident was towed from the scene.
