Warsaw Man Arrested For Battering Woman, Damaging Vehicle

MILFORD — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly battering a woman and damaging her vehicle.
Tyler Dane Sheetz, 38, 1076 E. Lantern Road, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery and criminal mischief, both class A misdemeanors.
On June 17, a Milford Police officer responded to a domestic dispute. A woman said Sheetz grabbed her neck and pushed her up against a vehicle.
According to court documents, the officer noticed a bloody mark on the left side of the woman’s chin, and slight bruising on the left side of her neck.
Sheetz also ripped a door handle, shattered a window, and damaged the taillights on the woman’s vehicle.
A man also witnessed Sheetz push the woman against a vehicle and put his hands on her.
Sheetz was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 1, with a $6,000 surety and cash bond.
