WARSAW — Mantis Skate Park in Warsaw will be aglow during a “Late Skate/Glow Night” on Friday, Aug. 11.

The free event offered by the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will take place from 8-10 p.m. at the skate park, located at 400 Little League Drive, Warsaw.

The park will feature black lights, glow-in-the-dark items and more, including Papa John’s pizza. All ages are welcome. Each participant will receive some goodies. If you have a bright-colored shirt, you’re encouraged to wear it so the black lights will bring the color to life.

An annual waiver and emergency contact form must be on file with the parks department in order to participate. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form. Forms are available on the parks department website or at Mantis Skate Park during operating hours.

Sponsors making the event possible are State Farm agent Linda Chastain and Papa John’s.
