Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 8:32 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, South Packerton Road, east of East CR 900S, Claypool. Drivers: John M. Walsh, 26, East CR 900S 43, South Whitley; and Elizabeth J. Learned, 54, North Mill Street, North Manchester. Walsh failed to yield to Learned’s vehicle while at the East CR 900S and South Packerton Road intersection. Walsh sustained minor injuries to his elbow and lower arm. Damage up to $25,000.
- 6:37 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, 309 W. Emeline St., Milford. Driver: unknown. An emergency brake on a parked Chevrolet Silverado, causing the vehicle to roll backward and hit a parked Chevrolet Equinox. Damage up to $5,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 4:28 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, North SR 15, near East CR 1150N, Milford. Drivers: Christopher W. Hare, 59, North Circle Drive West, Syracuse; and Ruth L. Fisher, 52, East CR 500N, Leesburg. Hare did not see oncoming traffic while stopped at the CR 1150N intersection and hit Fisher’s vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 1:06 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, EMS W18 Lane, east of EMS W18A Lane, North Webster. Driver: Braxton D. Mickem, 17, EMS W17 Lane, North Webster. Mickem’s vehicle left the roadway and hit several trees. Damage up to $25,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 9:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, East Tulip Street, east of North First Street, Pierceton. Driver: unknown. A vehicle owned by Benjamin K. Robinson, Pierceton, was parked and unoccupied when it sustained damage from an unknown driver. Damage up to $10,000.
