David A. Rangel
David A. Rangel, of Warsaw, passed away at 5:44 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at Community Hospital Anderson, Anderson, at the age of 74.

David A. Rangel
He was born on March 29, 1949, in Brownsville, Texas, to Josefina (Aguilar) Rangel and Alfonso Rangel. He moved to Warsaw when his parents moved to the area in 1969 from Texas. He married Susan Marie Beyel, and they shared many years together before she passed away on July 27, 2009.
David was a hardworking man his entire life and worked for a number of years at Little Crow Foods in Warsaw and three years at R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Warsaw. David could be young at heart and enjoyed riding his moped, absolutely loved listening to music, and he could never resist finding some great deals at the many yard sales he happened to come across. He was great with his hands and had a knack for “trying” to fix things. David was very humorous and knew he had luck behind him; he loved to play the lottery, as it was fun to get a ticket for a chance to win. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He tried his best to be there for his family, to celebrate many birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, cookouts, simply anything his family was celebrating. David enjoyed being able to meet and spend time with his great-granddaughter, Paisley. He will forever be remembered as a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and dear friend.
He leaves behind two daughters, Andrea A. Rangel, Claypool, and Bridget Dye, Warsaw; three grandchildren, Miranda Moore, Bailey Dawson and Bentley Dye; and his great-granddaughter, Paisley Annalesa Pruitt. Also surviving are five brothers, Joe (Dolores) Rangel, Milford, Arturo (Luisa) Rangel, Warsaw, Guadalupe “Lupe” Rangel, Warsaw, Richard Rangel, Warsaw, and Jesse Rangel, Warsaw; and his sister, Maria Hernandez, Pierceton. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso, on April 29, 2009; mother, Josefina, on June 23, 2010; and his wife, Susan, on July 27, 2009.
David’s life will be celebrated privately by his family. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Online condolences may be sent through the funeral home’s website at www.redpathfruthfuneralhome.com.
