GREENFIELD — Camping World Holdings Inc. has presented plans to buyout Mount Comfort RV in Greenfield. Camping World is a Illinois-based company that operates sale and service locations in 43 states. The financial details of the acquisition has not yet been disclosed; however, the acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter.
According to Mount Comfort RV’s website, the company has 55 employees. As of now, it is unclear if any employments will be in jeopardy by the acquisition.
Mount Comfort RV was founded by owner, Ken Eckstein, in 2006. The company deals mainly with the sales of Forest River, Coachmen, Tiffin, Newmar and Winnebago products. Back in 2019, the company opened a $5 million indoor sales center in Greenfield.
