WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was recently arrested on multiple charges after officers responded to a report of a person under the influence.
Gabriella Reagan Padilla, 24, 755 N. Zimmer Road, Warsaw, is charged with possession of cocaine, a level 5 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; two counts of resisting law enforcement and theft, all class A misdemeanors; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On July 23, officers received a report about Padilla, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, fleeing on foot from a Warsaw residence. A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded and found Padilla, who immediately became hostile.
According to court documents, upon learning Padilla had an outstanding warrant, a KCSO deputy attempted to handcuff Padilla. However, Padilla allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to run.
Upon searching Padilla’s person, the deputy found a glass smoking device with meth residue. Her purse also contained fentanyl residue and 9.2 grams of cocaine.
The deputy also found a vehicle key fob. The vehicle’s owner confirmed he never gave Padilla permission to have the key fob.
Padilla was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 23, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
