Multiple Fire Departments Respond To Smoldering Baghouse At Louis Dreyfus

CLAYPOOL — Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a smoldering baghouse at Louis Dreyfus on Thursday morning.
Claypool Fire Department was dispatched to the scene just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27. Baghouses are used to collect dust.
According to Claypool Fire Chief Rick Hurley, the fire within the baghouse was contained and did not spread. The department was on scene for about three hours.
Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, along with Winona Lake, Sidney, Silver Lake, and Burket Fire Departments all went to Louis Dreyfus to provide manpower.
