Lucius Daniel “Danny” Wakefield, 77, rural Wabash, died at 3:55 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born Nov. 26, 1945. On April 24, 1971, he married Sherry Marie Burton, who survives.

He also is survived by three children, Adam (Michelle Teal) Wakefield and Troy Wakefield, both of North Manchester, and Brandi “Pumpkin” (Jason Pence) Wakefield, Wabash; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
