Hand Appointed By Holcomb To Allen Circuit Court

INDIANAPOLIS — Gov. Eric J. Holcomb announced Wednesday, July 19, the judicial appointment in Allen County.
Ashley Niccole Hand has been appointed to the Allen Circuit Court and will replace Judge Wendy Davis who resigned effective March 14 due to her run for Indiana’s third congressional district.
Hand currently serves as a senior magistrate in the Allen Circuit Court where she primarily handles family law cases. Prior to her appointment as a magistrate, she worked in private practice with a focus of family law and civil cases such as employment discrimination and insurance claims.
She is a board member for the Allen Circuit Court Problem Solving Court, Inc. which provides financial support to participants to assist with housing costs, medical treatment or court fees.
Hand received an undergraduate degree from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne and a law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
She will be sworn in as judge on a date to be determined.
