WARSAW — Empress Beauty Salon and its staff will be offering free haircuts for students going into elementary, middle or high school from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8. The salon is located at 970 N. Lake St., Warsaw.

Carley Moore and her staff understand it can be hard for parents to afford everything a child needs for school, especially if they have more than one. From school clothes, shoes and supplies to even ensuring children are mentally ready for the school year, it can be a lot to manage.

The staff at Empress Beauty wants to ensure students can look and feel their best for their first day of school. They remember how important the first day back to school is, and if students can look and feel great that could help alleviate some of those nerves. Hopefully, it will also help eliminate some of the financial stress for parents.

The event is on a walk-in basis with no appointment necessary.
