Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 7:37 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, East US 30 and SR 13, Pierceton. Drivers: Dmitrii Pesterev, 45, Tally Breeze Way, Bradenton Fla.; and Rodney Bays, 58, South CR 425W, Silver Lake. Pesterev’s semi-truck rear-ended Bays’ vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
- 3:29 p.m. Monday, July 17, Pierceton Road and Washington Road, Pierceton. Driver: Ryan Craft, 41, East CR 200S, Pierceton. A deer ran into Craft’s vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 11:49 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, South Huntington Street and South Sycamore, Syracuse. Drivers: Suette Hochstetler, 45, CR 29, Syracuse; and Casandra Alba, 33, Foxmoore Court, Goshen. Hochstetler’s vehicle rear-ended Alba’s vehicle. Alba was transported to Goshen Hospital. Damage up to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 5:07 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, SR 15 and West CR 250N, Warsaw. Drivers: Remington Lafollette, 23, North SR 15, Warsaw; and Allan Jarosik, 25, West CR 250S, Warsaw. Lafollete noticed his phone dropped out of his pocket while driving his motorcycle when he looked back to see where it went and looked forward again he was unable to avoid a collision with Jarosik’s vehicle despite trying to tip his bike before. Lafollete was going to be taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment. Damage up to $25,000.Pierce
- 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, Argonne Road and East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Mark Gebhardt, 50, Stateline Road, Bessemer, Pa.; and Bruce Miller, 76, East CR 550S, Warsaw. Gebhardt’s vehicle struck Miller’s vehicle while making a left turn onto Argonne Road. Damage up to $2,500.
