Rollins Arrested After Officers Find Over 20 Pills Of Fentanyl

WARSAW — A Pierceton woman was recently arrested after officers found over 20 pills of fentanyl on her person.
Heathern Star Rollins, 22, 3104 E. Wooster Road, Pierceton, is charged with dealing in a fentanyl-containing substance, a level 4 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony.
On July 12, Warsaw Police and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s officers received information about a woman driving while talking on a cellphone. The officers pulled the suspect vehicle over and identified its driver as Rollins.
According to court documents, Rollins said she had used fentanyl one week ago. Officers searched Rollins’ vehicle and found no illegal drugs.
However, upon searching Rollins’ person, officers found 28 blue pills identified as fentanyl, a narcotic drug.
Rollins said she received $200 from an individual to purchase fentanyl pills. She purchased 28 fentanyl pills and planned to keep eight of them and deliver the other 20.
Rollins was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 12, with a $15,250 surety and cash bond.
