WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Shrine Club and the Warsaw American Legion Post No. 49, SAL Squadron 49 and the American Legion Auxiliary recently donated $9,968 to the Shrine Children’s Hospital in Oak Park, Ill.
The money was raised through the Shrine Annual Turkey Shoot and various fundraisers held by the American Legion.
The organizations are grateful to the local business, individual donors, shooters and volunteers for their support.
The Shrine Hospital, which provides orthopedic care, serves more than 125 children in Kosciusko County with medical needs, regardless of the family’s ability to pay.
Another event is planned for Oct. 14-15 at Beeson Gun Range, Etna Green.
