Warsaw Man Arrested After Vehicle Pursuit

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after leading officers in a high-speed vehicle pursuit.
Corey Dana Dolt, 34, 4857 N. 100E, Warsaw, is charged with resisting law enforcement, a level 6 felony; resisting law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor; and reckless driving, a class C misdemeanor.
On June 30, Warsaw Police officers responded to a vehicle accident at Detroit Street and Lake City Highway. A man, later identified as Dolt, stood up on his motorcycle and left at a high rate of speed. Officers saw Dolt fail to signal a lane change and attempted to pull him over.
A vehicle pursuit then ensued. According to court documents, Dolt traveled at about 90 mph in 40 mph speed zones while disregarding officers and failing to stop at stop signs. Dolt eventually drove off the roadway and left the motorcycle behind, jumping over a fence. An officer deployed his taser and Dolt was taken into custody.
Dolt was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 30.
