Shirley E. McDaniel, 73, Batesville, formerly of North Judson, died Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus.

She was born Dec. 11, 1949.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl McDaniel, Princeton, Shelby (John White) Hatfield, Lawrenceville, Ill., and Jamie (Todd) Nobbe, Batesville; sons, Brad (Brooke) McDaniel, Bridgeport, Ill., and Michael (Suzie) McDaniel, Lawrenceville, Ill.; sisters, Donna Smith, Cedar Bluff, Ala., Elsie (Gary) Danekas, San Pierre, and Kathy (Bill) Schrag, Lacrosse; brothers, Kenneth Madsen, Plymouth, Jim (Sherry) Madsen, North Judson, and George Madsen, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
