Public Transportation Meeting Tuesday, June 27
News Release
NORTHEAST INDIANA — The Community Transportation Network will host public meetings June 27-29 across Northeast Indiana. The goal is to understand residents’ transportation needs.
CTN, along with more than 20 other partners throughout the Northeast Indiana, in May, opened a needs survey receiving more than 3,500 responses. Those interested in taking the survey, should do so before June 30. The survey is available at www.surverymonkey.com/r/NEI_Transit_Survey.
The public meetings will last around 90 minutes and will include opportunities for small group discussions and brainstorming for improvement. The meeting places are accessible, and anyone wishing to attend who has a disability and seeks accommodations can email [email protected] for more information.

In the announcement, Justin Clupper, executive director at the CTN, stated CTN eased the burden of transportation in Allen County for over 20 years. The assessment will help understand what is working well in the 11-county region, and where there is need for more service.
A committee of more than 20 members will help manage the direction and structure of the assessment, keeping it focused on all 11 counties.
The assessment, including the survey and the public meetings, are facilitated by a consulting firm that specializes in transportation, RLS & Associates. The results gathered will be available for public access starting in January.
