WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was recently arrested for allegedly hitting a man.

Carmen Carolina Garcia, 25, 1692 E. 200N Lot 40, Warsaw, is charged with domestic battery with a child under 16 present, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.

On April 7, Warsaw Police officers responded to a domestic incident at a local business. A woman said Garcia was hitting a man in the head while in the business’s parking lot.

Officers found the man, who said he was with Garcia and a child when Garcia got mad and began hitting him in the head. According to court documents, the man had a bloody nose.

On May 4, one of the officers spoke with Garcia about the incident. Garcia said the man was flirting with her and that she hit the man in the head.

Garcia was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 19, with a $5,250 surety and cash bond.
