Kosciusko County 4-H Public Fashion Revue And Awards Night
News Release
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — The 2023 Kosciusko County 4-H Public Fashion Revue, Awards Night and crowning of the 2023 Kosciusko 4-H Royalty is scheduled for June 29 at Lakeview Middle School starting at 6 p.m.. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
This event includes the following festivities: the viewing of the Public Fashion Revue involving members of the sewing and consumer clothing projects; the announcing of 4-H awards and scholarships as well as the recognition of 4-H members in their ninth year, last year, and 10th year; the acknowledgement of adult volunteers, announcement of adult awards; and the crowning of the 2023 Kosciusko County 4-H Royalty. Join Purdue Extension in the celebration of all the local outstanding 4-H members and adult volunteers.
Don’t forget to visit the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds this summer to enjoy all attractions of the Kosciusko County Community Fair, which will run from July 9 through July 15. We hope to see you there!
4-H Royalty Contestants
Hallie Bledsoe is the daughter of Jason and Kim Bledsoe. She is a 2023 graduate from Warsaw Community High School. This is her 10th year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club and the Kosciusko County Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include photography and Junior Leaders. Her future plans include attending Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue Fort Wayne.
Isabelle Smith is the daughter of James and Trishell Smith. She is a 2023 graduate from Wawasee High School. This is her 10th year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club. Her 4-H projects include swine and scrapbooking. Her future plans are to further her career in the cosmetology field.
Lucy Redman is the daughter of Spencer and Emily Redman,. She will be a senior in homeschool. This is her ninth year in 4-H and is a part of the Silver Lake Rambling Farmers 4-H Club. Her 4-H projects include llamas, poultry, shooting sports and Junior Leaders. Her future plans are to finish high school and then go to Grace College.
Callie Holland is the daughter of Kelvin Holland and Ronda Wiesehan. She is a 2023 graduate from Warsaw Community High School. This is her ninth year in 4-H and is a part of the Kosciusko County Horse and Pony Club. Her 4-H projects include foods, baked and preserved, recycling, and horse and pony. Her future plans include attending Indiana University Fort Wayne to study sonography.
Abby McCoy is the daughter of Travis and Tabitha McCoy. She will be a senior at Indiana Connections Academy. This is her ninth year in 4-H and she is a part of the Kosciusko County Horse and Pony Club. Her 4-H projects include horse and pony. Her future plans are to become a park ranger.
Shayleen Crites is the daughter of Dawn and Shannon Crites. She is a 2023 graduate from Indiana Connections Academy. This is her 10th year in 4-H and is a part of the Milford Helping Hands 4-H Club and the swine committee. Her 4-H projects include Swine, Poultry, Beef, Photography, and Fine Arts. Her future plans are unknown at this time.
Reese Rowland is the daughter of Greg and Kassi Rowland. She is a 2023 graduate from Warsaw Community High School. This is her 10th year in 4-H and is a part of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club and the Kosciusko County Junior Leaders. Her 4-H projects include dairy calf feeder steer, beef, and Junior Leaders. Her future plans include attending Purdue University to study Retail Management.
Charlie Krull is the son of Shawn and Lissa Krull. He will be a senior at Wawasee High School. This is his ninth year in 4-H and is a part of the Milford Helping Hands 4-H Club and the Kosciusko County Junior Leaders. His 4-H projects include arts and crafts, electric, Lego construction, Lego creative scene, recycling, goats, beef, swine, Junior Leaders, blacksmithing, and collections. His future plans are to attend Purdue University and one day be Purdue Pete.
