WARSAW — “Go Skate & Scoot Day” is being celebrated from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Mantis Skate Park, 400 Little League Drive, Warsaw.

The free event coordinated by the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department includes skating at the park, giveaways and Papa John’s pizza.

Mantis Skate Park is a fully supervised, family friendly skate facility for all ages, elementary students through adults. Skateboards, scooters and in-line skates are welcome.

An annual waiver and emergency contact form must be on file to be eligible to skate. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a form. The forms are available on the parks department website or at Mantis Skate Park during operating hours.

The event is made possible with sponsorship from State Farm agent Linda Chastain and Papa John’s Pizza.
