AKRON — Contestants are sought for the Akron Fourth of July’s Miss Sparkler and Mr. Firecracker competitions.

Kids ages 4-7 may participate. The contests start at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 2, at the Akron Community Center following the announcement of the Akron Las Donas Club’s Penny-A-Vote Cute Baby Contest winners.

Entry forms, found here or at Akron Town Hall, 206 W. Rochester St., plus a $5 fee are due to town hall by Monday, June 26.
