David A. Melton Sr., 83, a longtime Warsaw resident, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at Paddock Springs Healthcare, Warsaw.

He was born Feb. 24, 1940. On July 27, 1963, he married Nancy Biddle, who preceded him in death in 2021.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Amy) Melton; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Goodnight and Brenda Shafer; his stepmother, Sue Bryant; and several great-grandchildren.
