PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, located at 1048 S. 325E, Pierceton.

Riley

Riley

Riley is a seven-year-old, female, spayed Domestic Short Hair/Domestic Medium Hair cat. She has a black and white fur coat and weighs seven pounds.

Riley is a sweetheart of an older gal who loves to lounge around and take naps. She loves all kinds of attention too, and she will sit in your lap for hours while watching television.

Riley’s favorite thing to do is to climb up high and watch what is happening below her, whether that is a window view or otherwise. She hopes you’ll come meet her soon enough.

Riley’s adoption fee is $65.

Mottie

Mottie

Mottie is an 11-year-old, female, spayed American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She has a white and brown fur coat and weighs 41 pounds.

Mottie is a sweet girl full of love, but she does need some time to warm up to new people. Treats are a great way for her to become comfortable with someone. Mottie came to the shelter as skin and bones and did not trust people. Now, she has all the food and affection she could ever want.

The only thing Mottie is missing is a home and family to call her own. She is looking for a forever foster since she is an older girl. In her old age, Mottie would prefer to not share her home with other animals since she is not as patient as she used to be, but she doesn’t mind kids.

Mottie’s adoption fee is $75.
