Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 12:59 p.m. Thursday, June 1, North CR 700E, north of North Sullivan Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Hannah M. Brown, 30, EMS B60D Lane, Warsaw; and Cynthia S. Frederick, 63, EMS B59 Lane, Warsaw. Brown’s vehicle crossed the center line and hit Frederick’s vehicle. Brown was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for minor injuries to her left arm and abdomen. Damage up to $25,000.
- 10:38 a.m. Thursday, June 1, North CR 500E, north of East CR 900N, Syracuse. Driver: Jacob T. McKinney, 19, EMS D18 Lane, Syracuse. McKinney’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
- 9:40 a.m. Thursday, June 1, West CR 1350N, west of North CR 950W, Nappanee. Drivers: Melissa R. Baxter, 31, East High Street, Nappanee; and Deborah L. Stahly, 52, Plymouth Goshen Trail, Bremen. Baxter’s vehicle rear-ended Stahly’s. Damage up to $5,000.
- 4:50 a.m. Thursday, June 1, East CR 1300N, east of North Kern Road, Syracuse. Driver: Braxton R. Adam Alexander, 22, East Fourth Street, Milford. Adam Alexander’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 8:22 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, US 30, west of CR 900E, Pierceton. Driver: Ellen R. Cornwell, 28, 1st Street, Winona Lake. Cornwell’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $2,500.
Winona Lake
Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 5:13 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 802 Park Ave., Winona Lake. Driver: unknown. An unknown driver caused damage to a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
