New Family-Owned Trash And Recycling Business Launching In Fort Wayne
News Release
FORT WAYNE— Valerie and Ryan Borchers have announced the launch of their new business, Waste Works, LLC. The business started accepting new customers earlier this month and will begin providing rash and recycling services to residents in Allen County on July 1.
Ryan Borchers, CEO, has worked in the waste management industry for 20 years. His experience within the industry ranges from starting as a residential driver to being a senior manager of operations and responsibilities for leading over 100 employees in Fort Wayne and Grand Rapids.
Valerie Borchers, CFO, has over eight years experience working as a CFO consultant for high-growth start-up organizations. Both are active in the daily operations of the business.
“We started Waste Works because we saw a need for a garbage collection service that provides great service with fair and consistent pricing, “ states Ryan Borchers. “Being a local family, we genuinely care about our friends and neighbors and the environment we serve. Our competitors today consist of large publicly traded companies that clearly do not care about our concerns. The level of service is declining at the same rate the prices are increasing and we know we can do better.”
Beginning in July, Waste Works will be providing weekly trash and bi-weekly recycling services to Allen County residents outside the city limits of Fort Wayne, as well as scheduled bulk trash pickups. At present the business provides trash removal and recycling services within north, northwest and southwest Allen County, but it plans to expand its footprint area based on community demand. Anyone interested can visit the company’s website to see if their address is included in the service area.
Valerie and Ryan want to lead Indiana into the future of waste collection. “We want to become the largest family-owned waste and recycling business in Indiana,” Ryan revealed. “We intend to raise the bar for waste collection and environmental impact for our friends and neighbors.”
