Ned Wayne Freeman, 92, Syracuse, died at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

He was born Dec. 30, 1930. On Nov. 26, 1952, he married Alma Jean Riley, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, David Freeman, Leesburg, Ned Brent (Karen) Freeman, Warsaw, Jon Eric Freeman, Columbia City, and Michelle Renee (Patrick) Ball, Columbia City; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
