Warsaw Schools Announce Plans To Participate In Summer Food Service Program

WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools’ administration recently announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under and to those over 18 who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all participants. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis at the following sites from Mondays through Fridays:
- Winona Lake Park, 1590 Park Ave., Winona Lake
June 5 to June 30, and July 10 to July 28
Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Bixler Park at Center Lake, 503 N. Detroit St., Warsaw
June 5 to June 30, and July 10 to July 28
Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Lincoln Elementary School, 203 N. Lincoln St., Warsaw
June 5 to 23
Breakfast from 8:45-9 a.m. and lunch from 12:30-12:45 p.m. - Edgewood Middle School, 900 S. Union St., Warsaw
June 5 to 23
Breakfast from 7:45-8 a.m. and lunch from noon to 12:15 p.m. - Kosciusko YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive, Warsaw
June 5 to June 30 and July 10 to July 28
Lunch from 11:15-11:30 a.m. - Baker Youth Club, 1401 E. Smith St., Warsaw
June 5 to June 30 and July 10 to July 28
Lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. - Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw

To file a program discrimination complaint, a complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA.
The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
