Wright Arrested After Undercover Drug Bust

WARSAW — An Osceola man was recently arrested after selling over 80 grams of methamphetamine to undercover officers.
James Michael Wright, 35, Osceola, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 2 felonies; and two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 3 felonies.
Sometime in February, the NET 43 Drug Task Force conducted two controlled drug purchases with Wright, who sold a total of 86.4 grams of meth.
Wright has prior convictions for meth possession, possession of two or more precursors or reagents with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, and carrying a handgun without a license.
For this case, Wright was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 15, with a $26,000 surety and cash bond.
