Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest In Fulton County

ROCHESTER — A man was arrested in Fulton County after Indiana State Police discovered him driving over 100 miles per hour.
Around 2:45 a.m. Monday, May 22, ISP Trooper Adrianna Ward was patrolling US 31, south of Rochester, when she stopped the driver of a 2019 Ford for driving 102 mph. The driver was identified as Michael John Rogers, 29, Dyer.
Rogers displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Further investigation revealed he had a preliminary BrAC of 0.177%. Rogers was arrested and taken to the Fulton County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, OWI – endangerment, reckless driving, and driving while suspended with a prior conviction.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene.
