Kosciusko County Farmers Markets Open For The Season

KOSCIUSKO — There are plenty of farmers markets in Kosciusko County open and ready for business.
Kosciusko County Farmers and Artisans Market, 121 N. Lake St., Warsaw, is open for the season 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays through Oct. 28. With vendors including farmers, crafters, florists and bakers, this is an opportunity to shop local and learn more about local businesses in Warsaw.
Syracuse Artisans and Farmers Market, located at Veteran’s Memorial Park at Crosson Mill, is open now 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays through Sept. 2. The market offers a wide variety of products being sold such as locally grown produce, flowers, baked goods and art.
The Farmer’s Market at Winona is up and running for the year open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at the Miller Sunset Pavilion through Sept. 30. There are seven vendors to choose from providing fresh flowers, plants, coffee, cheese, meats, eggs, microgreens, produce, fresh breads and sweets.
The Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw, also hosts a farmers market 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturdays, April through October and 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, May through October. There are in-season fruits, veggies, meat and hand-made goods for sale, all locally produced.
Not yet open, Harvest with a Heart Market, 207 N. Higbee St., Milford, will be open 3-6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, July through September. This Market is unique because it is donation based from both the farmers and customers. Their goal is to be able to bring local, fresh and healthy produce to all families regardless of income. The minimum donation is $ .25, and that quarter will go back into the community organizations in the Milford area.
