Silver Lake Woman Arrested After Officers Serve Warrant, Discover Drugs

SILVER LAKE — A Silver Lake woman was recently arrested after officers served a warrant and discovered drugs inside a home.
Marisa Lynn Dials, 43, 503 Myrtle Glen Road, Silver Lake, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 felony; possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On May 10, the NET 43 Drug Task Force went to a Silver Lake residence to serve an arrest warrant on a man. Upon approaching the residence, officers immediately smelled marijuana. Dials was present in the home and told officers the man they were looking for was not there.
According to court documents, one of the responding officers saw a marijuana pipe with burnt residue in plain view while he was speaking with Dials. Upon searching the home, officers found 18 grams of marijuana, 5.5 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, and two syringes.
Dials admitted to using marijuana and meth while in the home.
Dials was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10.
