Life As An Artist? Join A Group Discussion in Warsaw On Tuesday
News Release
WARSAW — A decade ago a group of area artists met at Don Swartzentruber’s home once a month to talk about the creative process.
Potter John Bowman, photographer John Hawkins, guitarist Patrick Wood, artist and musician Dave McCall, potter Andy Tomasik, illustrator Matt McClure, watercolor artist Terry Armstrong and others drank coffee and discussed the current state of the arts.
Swartzentruber is bringing the same sort of group discussion to Lakeland Art Center & Gallery, 302 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23.
Bring your coffee and be ready to participate. You could walk away with a deeper understanding of the creative journey. There is no cost to participate.
Swartzentruber holds a master’s in fine arts and is an art Instructor at Warsaw Community High School.
It is the mission of the Lakeland Art Association to further the visual arts in Kosciusko and surrounding counties through visual arts education, the sharing of creative endeavors and public exhibits and events.
