News Release
WARSAW — The Warsaw Community Schools Athletic Department has announced student leadership team selections for the 2023-24 cheer block.
Interested students applied during March, and a committee selection process was completed in April.
Officers for the 2023-24 school year will be: Olivia Robinson-Gay, president; Ben Reust, vice president; Lizzy Martinez, public relations; Ebonie Miller, secretary; and Meredith Bowald, treasurer.
The student leadership team will help promote student involvement in a variety of extra and co-curricular student activities at Warsaw Community High School. Its mission is to help organize students through planning spirit themes, competitions, cheer block T-shirt designs, coordination with band/cheerleaders and communication.
Local sponsorships, including the primary sponsor, SYM Financial, have enabled all Warsaw High students to be provided free all-sports passes. According to information from the school system, SYM and other financial sponsors do not determine cheer block themes, specific activities or selection of student leaders; the goal of SYM’s sponsorship is to encourage student attendance at all Tiger events by removing the possible barrier of cost.
