Affidavits Detail Seven Arrests Made During NET 43 Warrant Sweep

WARSAW — Affidavits of probable cause have been filed against seven individuals who were recently arrested during a warrant sweep by the NET 43 Drug Task Force. The following individuals are alleged to have dealt drugs to NET 43 during undercover incidents.

Carol L. Smith

Sabrina Danielle Smith
Sabrina Danielle Smith, 44, 8280 E. US 30 Lot 24, Pierceton, is charged with aiding, inducing or causing dealing a narcotic drug, a level 3 felony.
Carol L. Smith, 69, 8280 E. US 30 Lot 24, Pierceton, is charged with dealing a narcotic drug, a level 3 felony.
Sometime in February, NET 43 purchased 5.5 grams of a narcotic drug from Carol. While observing the controlled purchase, officers heard Carol say Sabrina counted the pills.
After the purchase, officers spoke with the Smiths. Carol admitted to dealing a narcotic drug by selling her prescription drugs.
According to court documents, upon searching the Smiths’ home, officers found eight smoking devices and 5.37 grams of marijuana.
Carol was previously convicted of marijuana possession in May 2005.
The Smiths were both booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, each with a $20,250 surety and cash bond.
Nicholas Andrew Irvine, 30, 3073 Center St., Warsaw, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; dealing a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; and possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug, both level 6 felonies.
Sometime in February, NET 43 conducted two controlled drug purchases with Irvine. During the purchases, Irvine sold 3.8 grams of meth and 0.49 grams of fentanyl, a narcotic drug.
Irvine has prior convictions for meth possession, possession of chemical reagents or precursors with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance, providing a firearm to an ineligible person, and assisting a criminal.
For this case, Irvine was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $15,500 surety and cash bond.
Morgan Marie Shepherd, 28, 1 EMS B37 Lane Lot 38, Warsaw, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 2 felonies; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 3 felonies; two counts of dealing in a narcotic drug, both level 4 felonies; and two counts of possession of a narcotic drug, both level 6 felonies.
Sometime in March, NET 43 made controlled purchases of meth and fentanyl, a narcotic drug, from Shepherd.
According to court documents, Shepherd sold a total of 86.6 grams of meth and 7.6 grams of fentanyl.
Shepherd has prior convictions for meth possession, marijuana possession, burglary, and failure to return to lawful detention.
For this case, Shepherd was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
Anthony Lee Washington, 54, 4179 W. Hughes Drive, Silver Lake, is charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine, both level 2 felonies; two counts of possession of methamphetamine, both level 4 felonies; and two counts of possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, both level 3 felonies.
Sometime in February, NET 43 purchased a total of 29.8 grams of meth from Washington during two separate transactions.
Washington has prior convictions for dealing and possessing meth. At the time of these dealings, Washington also had a pending criminal case for meth possession.
For this case, Washington was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.

Naquan Rasheed Williams
Naquan Rasheed Williams, 21, 510 E. Center St., Warsaw, is charged with dealing a narcotic drug, a level 4 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony.
Sometime in February, NET 43 purchased 1.1 grams of fentanyl, a narcotic drug, from Williams.
For this case, Williams was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $15,500 surety and cash bond.
Nathaniel Phillip Trott, 29, 40 EMS B6 Lane, Leesburg, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; dealing a narcotic drug, a level 5 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony.
Sometime in October 2022, NET 43 purchased 16 grams of meth and 0.9 grams of fentanyl, a narcotic drug, from Trott.
Trott has prior convictions for narcotic drug and controlled substance possession in September 2019 in Kosciusko County.
For this case, Trott was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 10, with a $50,250 surety and cash bond.
