Tippecanoe Man Arrested On Drug Charges During Traffic Stop

MENTONE — A Tippecanoe man was recently arrested after law enforcement found over 30 bags containing drug residue in a vehicle.
Jeffrey Michael Stills, 33, 17234 SR 331, Tippecanoe, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances, a level 5 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On May 6, a Mentone Police officer pulled over a speeding vehicle and identified its driver as Stills.
According to court documents, Stills said he did not have a driver’s license and exhibited signs of nervousness during the traffic stop.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers found over 30 plastic bags containing meth residue in a purse. Four plastic straws and two smoking pipes with residue where also found in the vehicle.
For this case, Stills was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on May 6, with a $10,250 surety and cash bond.
