Fulton County Gun Club’s Clays for Cancer Raises $5,400 For Charity

ROCHESTER — In its eighth year of hosting Clays for Cancer to benefit cancer charity Wheels on Fire, the Fulton County Gun Club saw target shooters, auction bidders and patrons just showing support enjoying camaraderie and competition Saturday, May 6.
Those in attendance could support the fundraising effort by participating in the competitive target event. They could also target shoot.
Those who were not interested in shooting had the opportunity to bid on donated silent auction items.
The day’s activities resulted in a donation of $5,422.40 to Wheels on Fire.
To date, Clays for Cancer has raised more than $36,500 for the group. Money raised by and donated to Wheels on Fire supports local cancer patients with expenses they face while fighting the disease.
