WARSAW — A Syracuse man was airlifted from a two-vehicle accident early Saturday morning.
At 8:03 a.m. Saturday, May 6, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on North CR 175E, north of East CR 175N, Warsaw.
According to a KCSO accident report, Diana Velazquez, 20, Leesburg, was traveling in a gray 2006 Honda Accord. Velazquez was stopped and preparing to turn north onto North CR 175E.
She told deputies she saw a car traveling south on North CR 175E. When the vehicle passed her, Velazquez pulled out into the roadway but did not see a red 2005 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling behind the passing vehicle.
The motorcycle was driven by Ryan M. Sutton, 22, Syracuse.
Sutton sustained an injury to the right side of his head and complained of right arm and leg pain. He was flown by Lutheran Air ambulance to a Fort Wayne hospital for further medical attention.
Damages are estimated up to $5,000.
