Two From North Webster Injured After Motorcycle Accident

SYRACUSE — Two people from North Webster were injured Thursday night after a motorcycle versus deer accident.
At 9:48 p.m. Thursday, May 4, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on North CR 300E, north of East CR 900N, Syracuse.
According to a KCSO accident report, William C. Harr, 52, North Webster, was driving a teal 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on North CR 300E when a deer entered the roadway. Harr sustained head injuries and severe bleeding after making contact with the roadway following the collision. He was flown from the scene to Lutheran Fort Wayne.
A passenger, Christina N. Santos-Burke, 41, North Webster, was thrown from the motorcycle and complained of pain to her left leg and right arm. She was taken to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
Damages are estimated up to $25,000.
