MACY — Schmack Em’ Bait and Tackle Shop, Macy, has been sponsoring two area high school fishing teams.

The Schmack Em’ Bait and Tackle Shop team includes Micheal Trigg as the boat captain and high school anglers Tru Lee and Jena Chandler. The Tippy Valley Anglers Club has Scott Backus as the boat captain and high school anglers Aaron Backus and Luke Tucker.

Some of the waters the young anglers have been fishing while learning a lot about the art of angling include Patoka Lake, Lake Manitou and Lake Maxinkuckee.

Other sponsors include Schmack Em’ Baits Inc., Bo’s Bait Co., Buck Wild Jigs, AgSource, Lisa Duncan and many others, including friends and families of the teams.
