Eagles Grand Worthy President In Syracuse Monday

SYRACUSE — The Syracuse Eagles will be hosting a meet and greet with the Fraternal Order of Eagles Grand Worthy President Rick Powell from 3-7 p.m. Monday, May 8. This will be the first time the Syracuse Eagles has had the opportunity to host a sitting grand worthy president at the Syracuse Aerie.
Powell joined Wright Aerie No. 2641 in Fairborn, Ohio, in 1982. He has held most Aerie offices and served for 23 years as Aerie auditor. He is an Ohio past state president and served as director of the Ohio State Eagles Family Recreation Park for 10 years. Aerie #2641 consolidated with Tipp City Aerie #2201 in 2019, and that is Powell’s home Aerie now.
He and his wife, Alma, have two sons and two granddaughters. Brother Rick has donated more than 20 gallons of blood at a local community blood center. He loves to fish when time permits and always enjoys spending time with his Eagle brothers and sisters.
