Nannette Mikuly — UPDATED
Nannette P. Mikuly passed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, peacefully at her home at the age of 60.
Born in Hammond on Dec. 18, 1962, she was the daughter of James and Judith (Veloch) Mikuly.
She worked at Betler Auto in Goshen, specializing in manufacturing, and later joined Canvas, creating canvas tops for boats. Nanette had a passion for giving. She had a big heart and never hesitated for a moment to help anyone in need. In her spare time, Nannette loved spending time with her dogs and cooking for others. A nature lover at heart, she enjoyed walking outside as well as fishing in the local lakes. Nanette was also known to have skillfully crafted rosaries.
Nanette is survived by her sisters, Roxanne Mikuly and Tina Summar; brother, Dennis Mikuly; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews — all of whom she adored immensely — and her close friend, Larry (Bernice) Kovar. Her father, Jim Mikuly, and mother, Judith Wilson, preceded her in death, along with her sister, Susan Mikuly, and brother, James Mikuly.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Nannette’s care. Family and friends may gather from 2-4 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw, to celebrate Nannette’s wonderful life.
