Sharon C. Engelschjon — UPDATED
Sharon C. Engelschjon, 77, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, after an extended illness.

Sharon was born March 26, 1946, in Warsaw, the daughter of (the late) Eugene W. and Marjorie E. (Metzger) Cauffman.
Sharon proudly served her country as a nurse in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. She had the privilege of taking the Honor Flight. She continued her nursing career at the Bowen Center, Warsaw. Sharon enjoyed cross stitch and was a skilled seamstress. She especially took immense joy in sewing clothes for her family. She was an active member of the Claypool United Methodist Church.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tara E. Still, of Wabash, and Denise Engelschjon, of San Diego; sisters, Peggy (John) Shively, of Claypool, and Joyce (Robert) Whittlesey, of Guthrie, Ky.; and grandchildren, Brieanne, Kaitlynn, Abigail, Chloe, Audrey and Brooklyn.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool. Funeral services in celebration of Sharon’s life will begin at 11 a.m., with a dinner to follow. The Rev. Rob Nelson will be officiating. Interment is private.
