Kimberly “Kimmie” Barton, 57, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Kimmie was born March 30, 1966, in Warsaw, and was the daughter of (the late) Thomas and Patricia (Clark) Hartman. She was united in marriage to Donald Barton I on June 7, 2008, in Oswego.
She had worked as an office receptionist for Green Steam Pallet Co., in New Paris. Kimmie’s hobbies included doing crafts and organizing Donnie’s mess. She was a member of the Kosciusko County Abate for 23 years, American Legion Auxiliary No. 49, VFW Auxiliary No. 1126, and was a part of Harley Owners Group (HOG).
Kimmie cherished spending time with her grandkids and her family. She enjoyed showing her car at car shows and attending car shows. She loved riding her motorcycle and attending motorcycle events. Kimmie loved her friends and enjoyed talking and spending time with them. Kimmie especially treasured the love she shared with Donnie. He was her soulmate and their love for each other was and is forever and ever, as she would say.
Kimmie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Donnie Barton I, of Warsaw; daughter, Kara (Shane) Dawson; her stepdaughter, Krystle Barton; and daughter-in-law, Mariah Barton, of Warsaw; sisters, Michelle (Hartman) Kistler, of Warsaw, and Melissa Hartman, of North Manchester; mother-in-law, Sue Barton; and nine grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Kevin Hartman; and stepson, Donald R Barton II.
A visitation with family and friends will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. Funeral services in celebration of Kimmie’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, April 24, in the funeral chapel with a two-hour visitation prior to the service. Charlie Albertson and Steve Neeley will be officiating the services. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
