AKRON — Officials from the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. and Tippecanoe Valley High School held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, April 10, commemorating the start of a building and renovation project at TVHS.
The ceremonial first turning of the sod officially kicked off the project, which includes a new auditorium, agriculture classrooms and labs, wrestling/multi-purpose spaces, student collaboration areas and locker rooms. The project also includes pool renovations with expanded spectator seating.
Prior to the approval of the building project, TVSC held community stakeholder meetings for input and to learn of the future vision for the TVHS campus. Representatives from Fanning Howey and Baker Tilly were on hand during the community stakeholder meetings to provide details of the architectural planning and financing for this tax-neutral project.
