Motorcycle Crash Claims Life Of Rochester Man

FULTON COUNTY — Jason McClish, 44, Rochester, lost his life Monday evening, April 10, following a motorcycle crash on South CR 500E in Fulton County.
Officers and emergency personnel were called at approximately 7:27 p.m. to the area of 2602 S. 500E for a single vehicle motorcycle accident.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene McClish was found pinned under a motorcycle and a damaged fence on the west side of the road.
Preliminary investigation by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office found a 2010 Harley Davidson, driven by McClish, was northbound on CR 500E and left the roadway in a curve, striking a fence.
McClish, the driver and sole occupant, was not wearing a helmet. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene despite life saving measures by all responding agencies. Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Rochester Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and Akron Police Department.
