MENTONE — Mentzer Park in Mentone was filled with Easter eggs for Saturday morning’s egg hunt, April 8, hosted by the Mentone Chamber of Commerce.
Over 1,500 eggs were spread out into three sections, with four golden eggs hidden in each section. Those who found the golden eggs were given special prizes.
Hundreds of kids gathered at the part ranging in age before they were divided by age groups and taken to taped off sections. The older kids were taken across the bridge to a large area where eggs were a little harder to find.
The Easter Bunny was also on hand to greet those who wanted to have a visit or pose for family photos.
