The Warsaw Community Public Library is springing back into action in April with various activities for all ages.
We are all excited for spring to get into full bloom, and we enjoy sharing our newest activities with our community. If you have never attended an event at the library, one of these events might be a great activity to give a try. There is something for everyone.
Saturday, April 1: Kids Yoga will meet at 10:30 a.m. This is a great way to get your young ones involved in this exercise at an early age.
Monday, April 17: Paint with Carl meets at 5 p.m. This is a popular program, best for ages 15 and older. Please registered in advance at the library’s reference desk. A $25 fee is due at time of registration. Carl will guide you through the process of creating a painting that you can take home with you.
Saturday, April 22: Origami for Animals meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local teen artist Kendel Josey will be available to guide the whole family through some beginning origami and discuss the Black Pine Animal Sanctuary. This is a come-and-go event.
Tuesday, April 25: A teen cosplay event starts at 4:30 p.m. Come dressed as a character, interact with other characters, take advantage of a green screen for pictures and make a Minecraft helmet to take home with you.
Saturday, April 29: Family bingo will run from 10:30 a.m. until noon. We are bringing back this favorite game, and there will be plenty of prizes for all ages.
