Sonja Kay (Hatfield) Kinch
Sonja Kay (Hatfield) Kinch passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, where she had been a resident since September of last year.

Sonja was born on July 22, 1949, in Warsaw, to Forrest Eugene and Pearl Idaline (Stiver) Hatfield. She was a lifelong resident of Warsaw. She attended Warsaw schools and was a member of the class of ’67.
Sonja first married Rodney Fuller (deceased) with whom she had three boys. Later she married Tom Kinch, and for the past 35 years has been the lifelong companion to Jim Winchester, of Warsaw.
Sonja had many jobs over the years and retired from CEW. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 49, of Warsaw. She also attended First Baptist Church. Sonja loved to travel and had many good times going new places.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; a sister, Joann Morrison; and a son, Rodney Fuller. She is survived by two sons, Brian (Linda) Fuller and Patrick Fuller, all of Warsaw; a brother, Robert (Chris), of Winona Lake; her longtime companion, Jim Winchester, of Warsaw; and four grandchildren, Alex (Chelsie) Fuller, of New Paris, Mary Ann Fuller, Russ Winchester and Brooke Winchester, all of Warsaw.
No services are planned at this time.
