Timothy James Cobb
Timothy “Tim” James Cobb, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the age of 62.
He was born on March 14, 1960, in Indianapolis to Mary Ann (Bernauer) Cobb and Glenn Edward Cobb. Tim graduated from Pike High School in Indianapolis. He had been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 19 years, where he worked at Freedom Oil in Warsaw, doing maintenance at his family’s gas station.
Tim was always willing to help out with whatever was needed at the gas station. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, especially growing vegetables and giving them away for others to enjoy. He loved his dog, Lucky, walking in the woods together in Winona Lake and, of course, going out and canoeing with Lucky on board. Tim simply enjoyed living his life out at the old house in the country. He had a kind soul and was the type of person who would do anything for someone in need.
He leaves behind two brothers, Gordon E. Cobb, Marion, Ill., and Gregory “Greg” J. (Sheila) Cobb, Warsaw, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Edward Cobb, on March 19, 2007, and his mother, Mary Ann Cobb, on Nov. 26, 2019.
Timothy’s life will be celebrated by his family with a graveside service at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw. Arrangements are entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 1048 S. 325W, Pierceton, IN 46562.
