The Ford Meter Box Company is currently seeking a Buyer to perform procurement functions at its Wabash, Indiana facility. Successful candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills along with the ability to foster an environment rich in teamwork. Some business travel is required. The position also requires the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs. The following skills and abilities are needed regarding this position:
• Approval and negotiation of supplier agreements
• Analysis of production reports, product specifications, and other business communications in written and electronic format
• Scheduling and dissemination of pricing and delivery requirements
• Auditing information and administration related to suppliers
